The Skyraider was developed during the end of WW2. It saw some service during the Korean conflict but it's rise to fame came over the skies of Vietnam. Used by the US Navy, USAF and USMC, it was a fearsome attack aircraft capable of delivering plenty of ordinance.
My photography is a reflection of some of my loves. Aviation, landscapes, animals and live performance are all subject to capture through my lenses. I shoot with Nikon gear and have always enjoyed the art of photography. One of my great uncles was Carl Siembab, a man well respected in N England photography circles during his time. During the late 50's he was responsible for opening the first gallery in Boston dedicated solely to photography when many in the art world never really considered it a true fine art. Ansel Adams and Aaron Siskind were considered friends. I was a military son and we moved a lot. That is likely where my love of travel and new sights have come from. I know it is where my love of aviation comes from.
