Artist's Description
After a day of snorkeling on Oahu's North Shore this sunset was presented me and there happened to be some coconut palms nearby (imagine that). Couldn't help but NOT take a picture. This is a smaller file size due to it being taken with my cell phone and not my DSLR. Still an awesome image and perfectly suitable for smaller prints, mugs etc.
About Jeff Cook
My photography is a reflection of some of my loves. Aviation, landscapes, animals and live performance are all subject to capture through my lenses. I shoot with Nikon gear and have always enjoyed the art of photography. One of my great uncles was Carl Siembab, a man well respected in N England photography circles during his time. During the late 50's he was responsible for opening the first gallery in Boston dedicated solely to photography when many in the art world never really considered it a true fine art. Ansel Adams and Aaron Siskind were considered friends. I was a military son and we moved a lot. That is likely where my love of travel and new sights have come from. I know it is where my love of aviation comes from.
