Artist's Description
The rock band Iron Maiden is touring the globe in their special Boeing 747 and their lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, is a certified pilot of their aircraft dubbed "Ed Force One". Here he is guiding her in on final to Seattle-Tacoma International prior to their show in Tacoma.
About Jeff Cook
My photography is a reflection of some of my loves. Aviation, landscapes, animals and live performance are all subject to capture through my lenses. I shoot with Nikon gear and have always enjoyed the art of photography. One of my great uncles was Carl Siembab, a man well respected in N England photography circles during his time. During the late 50's he was responsible for opening the first gallery in Boston dedicated solely to photography when many in the art world never really considered it a true fine art. Ansel Adams and Aaron Siskind were considered friends. I was a military son and we moved a lot. That is likely where my love of travel and new sights have come from. I know it is where my love of aviation comes from.
