Artist's Description
One of my favorite places in the US is Zion National Park. A place where you can stand in one spot, turn 360 degrees and view splendor all around. This is a view from the Angel's Landing trail of the far canyon walls and the meandering Virgin River.
About Jeff Cook
My photography is a reflection of some of my loves. Aviation, landscapes, animals and live performance are all subject to capture through my lenses. I shoot with Nikon gear and have always enjoyed the art of photography. One of my great uncles was Carl Siembab, a man well respected in N England photography circles during his time. During the late 50's he was responsible for opening the first gallery in Boston dedicated solely to photography when many in the art world never really considered it a true fine art. Ansel Adams and Aaron Siskind were considered friends. I was a military son and we moved a lot. That is likely where my love of travel and new sights have come from. I know it is where my love of aviation comes from.
